On August, 2006, I put my two black labs in my car and began my journey from Cleveland, Ohio to Alaska. In Nulato, a small rural village on the Yukon River, I met Jim Bob who would become my husband. In the coldest, darkest days of winter, we would talk about our dreams of living on a ranch and watching the hay grow and alpacas romp. After a few years, we moved to Jim Bob's home state of Texas. Incredibly, our dream is a reality. Webb Acres is a modest plot of six acres but more than enough work as we attempt to balance full-time jobs as social worker and teacher. View all posts by webbacres
